A raucous love letter to iconic drag queen Doris Fish, the creative force behind 1991 queer cult classic Vegas in Space and visionary advocate for the gender continuum. Through intimate letters, never-before-seen archival and camp infused animation, Doris’s closest friends and surviving collaborators recount her rise from 1970s Sydney to 1980s San Francisco at the height of the AIDS crisis – fueled by sex work, faux fur, and an unabashed drive to be authentically seen and celebrated in a time when drag queens occupied the lowest caste of the LGBTQia+ community.
